Teltron Maltese Cross Tube S
Teltron Maltese Cross Tube S
The Teltron Maltese Cross Tube S is a highly evacuated electron tube with divergent electron gun, fluorescent screen and Maltese cross. Experiment Topics: Demonstrate the straight line propagation of electrons in the absence of any electric or magnetic field by projecting the shadow of a Maltese cross onto the fluorescent screen and for introducing students to electron optics.
Filament voltage: 6.3 V AC
Max. Anode voltage: 5000 V
Anode current: approx. 0.1 mA at 4000 V
Glass bulb: approx. 130 mm dia.
Luminescent screen: approx. 85 mm dia.
